  This is a hole in the wall greasy spoon. Don't go in with the expectations that you will get a 5 star world class meal. You are going to get something greasy and quick. The food is not bad. The staff is typically very friendly. The shop doesn't feel like anything special, but it has its charm.

  Decently good food, staff isn't great. Can only recommend going for breakfast, have found the other food bland or boring. Good prices though.

  I've been to Cafe on the Square twice now. The first time was a Sunday, mid morning. I think we were seated around 10:30. It took 20 mintues for us to see a waitress, and almost am hour for our food to come out. When it came out it was cold and nothing to write home about.
  
  The second time was also a Sunday morning, this time we arrived at 7. We were seated right away, and out wait times were reasonable. The food came out warm but was about the same quality. I found a hair and an egg shell in my entree. Both times I've been in the coffee has been more like water with coffee flavoring. You can see in the pot how weakly brewed it is.

  The food is DELICIOUS! The wait staff could have been a little more customer oriented, but they were still nice. The best time to go is when they are not super busy so you get a better experience. I had a great time on both occasions when they were busy and when they were slow. You definitely get good quality food for what you pay for.

  We've been coming to the cafe for years.Lauren is the best waitress ever! She always has coffee waiting for us when we walk in. The food is great, the prices are great, it's the people that treat us like family that keep us coming coming back
